As a retired teacher and literacy coach, I am passionate about lifelong learning. Currently, I spend most of my time dabbling in many textile arts, reading a variety of books, playing with my grandchildren, and connecting with friends.

I am a coffee loving, retired former bureaucrat who is relatively new to the world of homeschooling. I am curious and creative, and love my newest hobby, which is rock painting. My 14 year old son and I happily share our home with a dog, four cats and a delightful Russian tortoise named Eirini.

I am mom to three daughters and grandma to three grandchildren. I am retired from careers in teaching, child protective services, and case management for seriously mentally ill adults. I enjoy reading, gardening, playing with my dogs, and seeing children and young people learning about our world and its wonders.

I am a member of the Children's Theater Council at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin, but more than that, I am a dabbler, a wanderer and a tinkerer with a passion to create. I am the family factotum and a self proclaimed pantologist of sorts. Among my many hats are those of homeschool mom, teacher, student, artist, designer, welder and volunteer extraordinaire.

I am a homeschool mom of 4, sharing the journey with my husband, Eric. When I am not planning, organizing, cooking, cleaning, keeping the household in order, etc., I am ... hmmm. Is there more? Of course there is! I love snuggles, nature, traveling to new places, paddle boarding, reading, and self-discovery.

I'm a local homeschool mom. When I'm not driving my teenager around, I'm reading books, watching musicals or dreaming of my next vacation.

Pilot. Outdoorswoman. Adventurer. Animal lover.
I've been an airline pilot since 1994 and a captain at JetBlue since 2007. I enjoy traveling. I have been to the Galapagos Islands and hiked to Machu Picchu, through the Grand Canyon, and from Mount Blanc to the Matterhorn. I enjoy fixing what's broken. But the best thing is being an aunt!

event organizer
Imagination Fair
I enjoy herding cats, getting ducks in a row, event organizing, and other futile attempts to establish a semblance of cooperative order in our chaotic world. My favorite homeschool events are the Imagination Fair and Makers Market. I love learning new things and waxing philosophical.
