How to Make Carbon Dioxide
I will be causing a chemical reaction with sodium bicarbonate and vinegar. When these two chemicals combine they produce Carbon Dioxide. I will trap the Carbon Dioxide in a balloon by placing it over the top of a tall bottle. This is an experiment I did for science this year.

Fire Sword
I am a tinkerer. I programmed an Arduino board to control an RGB LED light strip to make it act like a flaming sword. I enjoy archery, too, and made a PVC recurve bow this year at Rapids Archery Club. I also build model rockets and am a Junior Member of the Tripoli Minnesota High Power Rocketry Club.
The Amazing Monarch
I love monarch butterflies and their entire life cycle! They are so beautiful. Spring is my favorite season because that is when the monarchs begin to arrive here. They fly long distances! I will be sharing some information and craft projects to celebrate the monarch.

LEGO® Mixels plus Stuffed Animals
I've brought my LEGO® Mixels along with a stuffed animal collection. I recently studied taste buds and drew a map of the tongue. As a fan of Ninjago, I like to practice my Ninja moves. I enjoy building worlds in Minecraft, Gym & Swim at the Andover Y, and exploring my imagination at Rumriver Art Center and Created to Grow.
LEGO® Creations
I love to tell stories (and act them out) using my LEGO® creations. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and love building worlds in Minecraft. I enjoy drawing and am taking classes this spring at both Rumriver Art Center and Created to Grow. I am also enjoying Gym & Swim class at the Andover Y.
Short Stories
I have selected pictures of adventurous characters and imagined what they might be thinking, saying or doing and have created a short story or thought starter to share.
Handmade weapons
I created a spear and dagger using hand tools including a mini saw, drill and wood burner. It blends my love of art, creating and weaponry.

I am crazy for cardboard and am an inventor and builder. I love creating strategy games, LEGO® scenes, and functional transformer suits. I currently have a construction scene featured at LEGO® Land in the MOA. I run my own Creativity Museum to showcase my and my friends creations.

I am an active and creative person, likes to sew, paint, carve, cook, when I'm not hanging upside-down. My creations have won prizes in the county and state fairs. I have a book on sewing fun animal hats and hopes to bring joy to young hearts through giving them as gifts.
Hobart’s Funnies, Inventive, Silly-looking tanks and vehicles used in WWII
In WWII, a 57-year-old British retired soldier with crazy ideas about tanks built some of the craziest-looking, most inventive tanks ever. People called them Hobart’s Funnies. Some of them could even float.

This go-kart is a group project (4 engineers) made of steel and has a lawnmower engine. This street beast can take quite a lot of punishment with its robust chassis.
Fairy Awesome Slideshow
I have a slideshow of pictures that I drew of fairies and elves and such. The background music is “Prophecy Theme” by Brian Eno. The slideshow is presented on Scratch.mit.edu, a programming site for kids.
Backyard Chickens
My favorite things are swimming in the lake, jumping on trampolines, playing games and Hawaii Five-O. My project is about backyard chickens, including basic chicken needs, chicks, hens, coops, and food. I really enjoyed making this project because it contained video, clay, research and writing.
Art Perspectives
I decided to work on different ways to recreate a certain object. I wanted to try doing different types of art techniques that I have never before tried. I think art is a really good way to express emotions and your creative side.

Yarn Art
I like making art with bright colors, playing chess, and singing in choir. I’m exhibiting works on the loom and the French knitter, along with my tools: a tapestry loom, yarn needles, a fork, and a French or spool knitter. The French knitter makes cords out of yarn, and the loom makes patterns or pictures.
