  • About New York Life Insurance Company

New York Life Insurance Company Offers This Seminar because ...

  • In 2005, more people in the United States declared bankruptcy than graduated from 4-year colleges. In subsequent years, the bankruptcy rate decreased, but in 2008, bankruptcy is once again on the rise. American Bankruptcy Institute Executive Director Samuel J. Gerdano stated, “The sharp spike in consumer bankruptcies reflects the growing financial stress faced by American families, saddled with household debt and mortgage woes.”
  • Our children are financially illiterate.
  • The earlier parents can teach the values and life skills their children will need to live in the world, the better.
  • As parents, we teach children many habits when they are young. Some they may not understand, but some they need to incorporate into their daily lives. Money lessons and responsibility can be viewed in the same way.
  • For over 164 years, New York Life Insurance Company has conducted business around the central values of financial strength, integrity and humanity — and has remained committed to being a mutual company, owned solely by policyholders. This means that, regardless of the economy, New York Life Insurance Company's focus is fixed on just one objective: meeting the needs of customers, now and far into the future.
