Homeschool Adventures consists of local homeschooling families volunteering their time to build and sustain a community-created resource for their fellow local homeschoolers in order to assist all of us in creating and finding local inclusive secular homeschool opportunities, such as:
- homeschool field trips
- homeschool workshops
- other homeschool events
Homeschool Adventures does not organize, host or sponsor events itself. Rather we are homeschooling parents volunteering our time to support and advise other homeschool parents volunteering their time to organize local homeschool events.
Homeschool Adventures’ volunteers also work to keep area homeschoolers informed about local inclusive secular homeschool opportunities offered by area organizations.
Homeschool Adventures’ local area is the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area with occasional forays into Greater Minnesota and nearby Wisconsin.

Frequently Asked Question and their answers!
All members of Homeschool Adventures are strongly encouraged to join our partners as well:
- Minnesota Homeschoolers’ Alliance (MHA): A place for every Minnesota homeschooler! MHA is an inclusive organization encouraging, supporting and informing all Minnesota homeschooling families with a website full of information, conferences, 5K family event, book sale, science fair, and a fantastic summer picnic!
- ECHO-MN (Eclectic Community of Homeschooling Opportunities in Minnesota): A volunteer-run outreach group designed to help you learn about homeschooling. ECHO began as a support group for families with preschool age children and has grown into a large and diverse online support group of homeschooling families from Minnesota and surrounding areas.
The HSAdventures Yahoo! Group, Facebook Group, and this HomeschoolRecess Group are used by area homeschoolers who are volunteering theri time to organize local field trips for homeschoolers. If you are instead seeking to get information about your own organization's homeschool offerings out to local homeschoolers, you don't need to join. Just send us your announcements, and we will be happy to distribute the information to our members.
