#36 Spending too much time online...
Sometimes it's hard to believe that there was homeschooling before the internet. Homeschoolers network with email-lists, we ask for advice on virtual bulletin boards, we buy and sell curriculum online, and we do LOTS of research on the web. Thanks to all the new devices available, we can be online and accessible 24/7, almost anywhere. However, if we let it go too far, it can have a big effect on our relationships. Truth Academy Open House
Truth Academy is a Christian homeschooling organization that is
committed to following Christ and supporting homeschooling families. We
meet on Fridays from 11:45-3:45 p.m. and offer classes for grades 1-8 in
computer, creation science, art, and speech/writing with IEW. You have
the option to stay or drop off. Our support time for parents is from
2:30-3:30, which includes prayer, study, and encouragement.
PURPOSE: Come and meet the teachers, tour the facility, enjoy some
fellowship. Games and supervision will be provided for the kids.
