Description

Grand Slam is interested in offering a monthly Homeschool Day. To test the waters, they are working with Homeschool Adventures for their first introductory event.

Grand Slam is an indoor play area with over over 30,000 square feet of activities, games, rides and sporting activities for the whole family! The cost of the 3-hour homeschool event is just $10/person for a wristband that gets you your choice of...

• either unlimited play in the air powered Play Zone
• or unlimited Lazer Tag

• unlimited Pirates Lair 18-Hole Mini Golf
• unlimited Krazy Kars (bumper cars)
• 4 Tokens to the Arcade
• 1 Token for the Batting Cages

The regular walk-in price for this package is $14.95.

Parents who wish to play may either purchase the wristband or select from the a la carte menu of ...

• $4.75 per Lazer Tag game
• $1.70 per batting cage token
  • $5 for 3 batting cage token
  • $10 for 6 batting cage token

While registration is not strictly required to attend this event, Grand Slam is asking for advance registration for this trail run so that they may predict attendance and ensure they have adequate staffing. Please help us out by registering if you are planning on attending. If this event goes well, Grand Slam will begin offering monthly Homeschool Days.

You will purchase your wristband at the door when you arrive. Registration is to ensure there is adequate staffing for the event. While you are asked to specify which package you want to give Grand Slam a sense of interests, you can change your mind on the day of the event.

Please follow each step carefully to ensure your registration:

1. Immediately after you register, you will be sent an email confirmation and payment instructions from "admin [at] homeschoolrecess [dot] com." Make sure your email filters recognize this address as a legitimate sender.
   If you don't receive this email, please check your spam folder. Contact the organizer if you are unable to find it.
2. Send your payment promptly, preferably the same day that you register.
3. When the organizer records receipt of your payment, you will be emailed a payment receipt from "admin [at] homeschoolrecess [dot] com." If the payment deadline is approaching, and you've sent your payment but haven't received a receipt, please contact the organizer.
4. If the organizer doesn't receive payment by the deadline, your name may be removed from the registration list.

Where to meet:

You will purchase your $10 wristbands at the counter when you arrive and may begin to play as soon as you have done so. (Please note that sales tax will be applied.)

Food policy:

There is a snack bar on the premises selling burgers, brats, hot dogs, corn dogs, pizza, cheese bread, nachos, mini donuts, ice cream, soda pop and coffee. No outside food or beverages permitted.

There is free parking in the lot on site.

Directions: Just northeast of the intersection of I-35W and MN Hwy. 13.

From I-35W South, take Exit 3A to merge onto Hwy. 13. Take first left onto Nicollet Ave. Take first left onto River Ridge Ln. Take first right onto River Ridge Blvd and enter parking lot.

From I-35 North, take Exit 3A to merge onto Hwy. 13. Take first left onto Nicollet Ave. Take first left onto River Ridge Ln. Take first right onto River Ridge Blvd and enter parking lot.

From MN Hwy 13 south (west), turn right at Nicollet Ave. Take first left onto River Ridge Ln. Take first right onto River Ridge Blvd and enter parking lot.

From MN Hwy 13 north (east), turn left at Nicollet Ave. Take first left onto River Ridge Ln. Take first right onto River Ridge Blvd and enter parking lot.
