Description

Inspiring, mystifying, compelling - glass has captivated imaginations through the ages. If you have a group of students, artists, colleagues or friends who enjoy educational adventures, Foci MCGA has an exhilarating experience for you! Our instructors will provide a narrated demonstration of the origins and properties of glass, and create a spectacular piece of glass art before your eyes. This fascinating demonstration lasts an hour and a half, includes a question and answer time, and is suitable for art classes, corporate groups, senior citizens, professional organizations, and others.

Payment information

Payment must be received by: Mon, Mar 14, 2011 - 7:00pm

Please follow each step carefully to ensure your registration:

1. Immediately after you register, you will be sent an email confirmation and payment instructions from "admin [at] homeschoolrecess [dot] com." Make sure your email filters recognize this address as a legitimate sender.
   If you don't receive this email, please check your spam folder. Contact the organizer if you are unable to find it.
2. Send your payment promptly, preferably the same day that you register.
3. When the organizer records receipt of your payment, you will be emailed a payment receipt from "admin [at] homeschoolrecess [dot] com." If the payment deadline is approaching, and you've sent your payment but haven't received a receipt, please contact the organizer.
4. If the organizer doesn't receive payment by the deadline, your name may be removed from the registration list.

If your circumstances change and you find that are unable to attend, please let the organizer know as soon as possible via email.

No refunds will be issued after the cancellation deadline. If you must cancel for any reason after the cancellation deadline, you will be responsible for finding someone to take your family's reserved places and for letting the organizer know about the substitution. Reimbursements will be handled privately between you and your substitute.

Please arrive by:

Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes early in order to have plenty of time to find parking, check in with the organizer, visit the bathrooms and otherwise be prepared for our program to start on time. Please plan to be early to avoid being late due to inadequate maps, confusing road signs, road construction, heavy traffic, parking difficulties, inclement weather or uncooperative children. 

Where to meet:

Please gather in the entrance unless directed elsewhere by the staff. Please check in with the organizer when you arrive. 

Parking information:

You can either park in the larger lot and enter where it says "Research Laboratories" and follow the Foci MCGA signs inside, or drive to the back of the buildIng complex where you will find our main entrance.  Building 10 can be found at the back of the building complex, look for the Foci MCGA sign. 

Directions:

From 35W North, take the Hennepin Ave. exit and take a right onto Hennepin. Go
past Stinson Blvd./18th Ave SE (under a rail bridge) and you will see a brick building complex, take a right into the 2010 Building Complex parking lot.
 
From MN-280 North, take the Larpenteur Ave exit and a left onto Larpenteur/Hennepin.  Go just past Taft St. NE and take a left into the 2010 Building Complex parking lot.
