Description
A docent led tour of The Museum of Russian Art, the only museum in North America solely dedicated to the preservation and presentation of Russian art and artifacts. Current exhibits included "Matryoshka: The Russian Nesting Doll," featuring the brightly painted wooden dolls that have become a symbol of Russia and Russian folk art; "Photographer to the Tsar: Revealing the Silk Road," featuring the work of innovative chemist and photographer Sergei M. Prokudin-Gorskii whom Tsar Nicholas II commissioned to conduct a visual survey of the far reaches of the Empire, and Russkiy Salon featuring some of the most remarkable and popular paintings exhibited at TMORA over the past six years.

If the organizer doesn't hear from you within 48 hours, your family may be removed from the registration list. This protects the organizer from non-payment due to payment instructions blocked by overly aggressive spam protection. PLEASE MAKE YOUR PAYMENT PROMPTLY. When the organizer receives your payment, you will be emailed a payment confirmation. Cancellation information

Please do not register for this event unless you're able to make a personal commitment to attend barring illness or other unexpected emergency. If your circumstances change and you find that are unable to attend, please let the organizer know as soon as possible via email. No refunds will be issued after the cancellation deadline. If you must cancel for any reason after the cancellation deadline, you will be responsible for finding someone to take your family's reserved places and for letting the organizer know about the substitution. Reimbursements will be handled privately between you and your substitute. If you find that you are unable to attend on the day of the event, please let the organizer know as soon as possible by email or phone. Please also attempt to find a last-minute substitute for your family. It is not acceptable to just not show up.

Please arrive by:
Please plan to arrive no later than 9:50am in order to have plenty of time to find parking, check in with the organizer, visit the bathrooms and otherwise prepare for our program to start promptly at 10:00am. Please plan to be early to avoid being late due to inadequate maps, confusing road signs, road construction, heavy traffic, parking difficulties, inclement weather or uncooperative children. If you find that despite your best efforts, you are running unavoidably late, please let the organizer know! You may reach the organizer by phone or email on the day of the event.
Where to meet:
Please meet the organizer in the lobby unless directed elsewhere by the staff. Please retrieve your receipt from the organizer when you arrive as this is how she will check-in participants.
Food policy:
No food or drink is permitted inside the building. There is no restaurant or cafe in the building.
Alternate plans:
This adventure will not be cancelled due to weather. Please plan accordingly and dress appropriately.
Parking information:
Please park in north side of the Mayflower Congregational Church parking lot located on the north side of Diamond Lake Road directly across the street from the Museum. You may enter the lot off either Diamond Lake Rd or from Stevens Ave. You may safely cross the street at the light at the intersection of Stevens Ave and Diamond Lake Rd.
