Become a hydrologist. Use tablets to test the pond for natural chemicals dissolved in the water. Scoop up water insects with nets and use magnifying glasses to identify them. Discover how pollutants can have harmful effects on both the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Learn about the types of pollutants, their sources, pathways, impacts and strategies to control. Find out how to reduce the impacts on your local watershed. Meet and touch local turtles. Bring a bag lunch. Reservations required.
