The Science Museum now welcomes homeschool parents to join their Educator's Club, offering a discounted family membership and other benefits. They also offer a wide range of homeschool science classes. Residents of the Twin Cities metro may be able to visit for free by checking a Museum Adventure Pass out of the public library.

5-6 year olds will make frost, paint with ice and experiment with insulation and conduction. 7-9 year olds will make a comet, see a snowstorm in a box and make a frosty treat. 10-13 year olds will measure the resistance of ice and snow and use this data to create a range of crazy sound effects.
