Public field trips at Children's Theatre Company

What if the rabbit hole Alice fell in was really a gopher hole? How about if Cinderella wore wooden shoes instead of glass slippers? In this class we will take traditional fairy tales and see what happens when we set them in Minnesota! Join us as we ask the question, "What happens next!?"
No previous experience required, but this class is perfect for anyone who has previously taken Telling Tales class and wants more!!

Thursday, May 5, 2011 - 10:00am - 12:00pm This interactive and imaginative class is based on the popular book series by Edward Packard. In this class students will use improv to create a story that could have a multitude of outcomes all based on how the audience chooses the story to proceed. Perfect class for anyone who has taken an Acting or Improv class and wants to take it to the next level! This 4-week class will end with an interactive sharing of the story we created!

This class will also include plenty of movement and acting to help generate ideas, but is also ideal for kids who love to write or make up their own stories. The 4-week class will end with a final sharing (about 20 minutes) of the play we create.
