Your plane just made a crash landing in a winter forest... do you have what it takes to survive? You’ll learn from Brian’s experiences in Hatchet, make a survival shelter and build a fire in the snow.

Individual homeschool students ages 10-14 may register for ADVENTURES IN NATURE classes ($25 for a single class or $65 for the series of 3 classes). Pre-payment should be received at least two weeks ahead of program date.  3 Class Series: $65 (Friday, September 25, 2009, Friday, February 5, 2010, and Friday, April 23, 2010), Individual class: $25 per single class

These exciting, hands-on classes will focus on a different natural history topic, and may include games, art and literature, in addition to outdoor hikes and scientific explorations. Parents are encouraged to attend with their child at no charge. Bring lunch, water bottle and a snack, dress for the weather and dig into these awesome subjects!
