View the original, handwritten Alice in Wonderland or Da Vinci's notebook, or Captain R.F. Scott's diary from the 1911 Antarctic expedition.  There are also ancient Bibles and illuminated manuscripts, the first atlas of Europe, handwritten notes by Handel and Mozart, and so much more (this is the British Library after all.)  You can page through each work, zoom in to examine details, and read or listen to notes and occasionally excerpts of of the volume.  There are 2 versions of the software, a shockwave version, and a silverlight version (to which I've linked above).  I found the silverlight version much more reliable.
