ONE is homeschool support group for parents of one child who live in and around the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area (Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Minnesota).

While our primary focus is support for the parents, we also host gatherings for our children at area parks, zoos, museums, etc..

ONE is a secular, inclusive group. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, handicap, familial status, or national origin.

Is this the right group for me if I have more than one child but am homeschooling only one of them?
While there are similarities between homeschooling one child of many and homeschooling an only child, this group is focused on supporting the homeschool family with one child including social and parenting issues around the one-child family.

Is this the right group for me if I am the parent of one child but am not homeschooling that child?
The focus on this group is on supporting homeschool families with one child. While we will not be asking anyone for their "homeschool credentials," our gatherings are during the "school day" (weekday - daytime), when non-homeschooled children are at school.

Is this the right group for me if I don't live in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metropolitan Area?
This group provides both online discussion support and gatherings within the Twin Cities. If you live outside the Twin Cities, you will probably find attending gatherings difficult but may benefit from the online discussions.
