How and why we collect information from our visitors
We collect personally identifying information that users voluntarily provide to us to participate in the members-only areas of HomeschoolRecess.com. We may use that personal information editorially to improve and customize our content. Those who wish to post new content or access member-only areas are asked to provide certain personal information when they register, including a user name of your choice, a password, birth name and e-mail address. HomeschoolRecess.com does not share this information with any third party. Members should be aware that by voluntarily disclosing personal information on the HomeschoolRecess.com website, they make those details easily collectible by third parties.

To keep improving our site to meet user demand, we may gather some general information about those who access our sites. When visitors send e-mail inquiries to HomeschoolRecess.com, the return e-mail address is used to answer the inquiry. HomeschoolRecess.com does not use the return e-mail address for any other purpose or share it with any third party.  Members are required to submit a valid email address to register.  The email addresses are used only to process the registration and to send notifications about material to which the member has subscribed.  The email addresses are not shared with any third party.

Advertisers and Other Third-Party Sites
We may share aggregated and non-personally identifying information about our visitors collected on our site with our advertisers. This privacy policy applies only to HomeschoolRecess.com. Other sites that we link to or that advertise with us may have practices different from ours. We are committed to protecting the information you share with us. Our web site and our host have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. However, we cannot guarantee that these security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information.

HomeschoolRecess.com may disclose personal information about visitors, or about their uses of the web site, if, in our sole discretion, we believe it is reasonable to do so, including; to satisfy laws such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, regulations, or governmental or legal requests for such information, to operate our site properly and to protect HomeschoolRecess.com and our visitors.
