DESCRIPTION:<p>Homeschool programs will be offered February 27-March 7\, 2010\, at Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center.&nbsp\; The homeschool ticket is good for admission to both museums throughout the entire date range.&nbsp\; In addition\, optional hands-on programs and guided tours are available for students and their families.&nbsp\; All programs address Virginia and United States standards of learning for history and social studies. </p>
 <p>Students can enroll in one of three programs at each museum\, according to grade level\, and families can register for an interactive\, two-hour guided tour at each museum.&nbsp\; Each ticketholder is entitled to one hands-on program and one family tour at each museum. </p>
 <p>The fee is $10.25 per family member (youth or adult) for general admission to both museums from February 27-March 7\, 2010.&nbsp\; Children under age four are free.&nbsp\; Homeschool ticket holders can visit both museums as many times as they like during the date range.&nbsp\; The fee also includes one optional hands-on program and one optional guided tour of Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center.&nbsp\; Classroom capacity is limited to 25 people for hands-on programs.&nbsp\; Please register in advance to ensure a place in the program.&nbsp\; Walk-ins will be accepted if space is available.&nbsp\; </p>

 <p>Family Guided Tour<br />Visit re-creations of a Powhatan Indian village and the colonial fort\, replica 1607 ships\, and a riverfront discovery area on this 2-hour hands-on tour guided by a trained museum educator.<br />Tour dates: March 1\, 3\, 4.<br />Tour times: 10 a.m.\, and 2 p.m.</p>
 <p>Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 2 - Living with the Indians<br />Students handle and analyze clothing\, bone tools and pottery of the Powhatan Indian culture.<br />Program dates: March 1\, 3\, 4<br />Program times: 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.</p>

DESCRIPTION:<p>Airport Bowl in Richfield has open bowling for homeschooling families every Tuesday. The lanes are available from 1pm - 5pm.<br />(The latest time you would want to start bowling would be around 3:00 or 3:30.)</p>
 <p>The cost is $1.60 per game. There is no cost for shoe rental.</p>
 <p>Airport Bowl is located on the North side of 494 and just West of Cedar/77. (kitty corner from the Mall of America)</p>

DESCRIPTION:<p>Rooms 350 and 351.</p>
 <p>Displays of gifted education resources from many sources\, with vendors and parents with whom to discuss resources. The resource fair lets you see and discuss educational materials and resources for all gifted learners from toddlers to adults. Teachers can find helpful materials for their classes at the fair\, parents can find supplements for "afterschooling" or materials for full-time homeschooling\, and children and adults of all ages can find fun toys and gifts.</p>
 <p>Parents and educators are invited to come and learn more about the materials and programs available to gifted students including:</p>
 <p>Curricula and other materials parents have used with their gifted children for homeschooling\, supplemental after-schooling\, or as replacement curricula for school-based independent study.</p>
 <p>Information about distance learning programs for gifted students.</p>
 <p>Information about local and national organizations for families of gifted children.</p>
 <p>Attendees will be able to ask parents of gifted children questions about the many resources currently being used and examine many of those materials first hand. Books on gifted children and gifted education may also be purchased during the resource fair at the MCGT book table.
