Homeschool Programs at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden
The Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden & Bird Sanctuary is 15 acres of woodland, wetland, and prairie habitats showcasing native plants in natural settings. The Garden is the nation's oldest public wildflower garden founded by a former Minneapolis school teacher, Eloise Butler. Keeping with her tradition of bringing students to the Garden to "botanize" and following her motto of "Let Nature be you Teacher", the Garden offers many wonderful programs for students of all ages.

Date:Friday, May 25, 2012 - 10:00am - 12:00pmAlready familiar with binoculars? Have you been watching your bird feeders and know your backyard birds pretty well? Would you like to learn a few more birds and few more tricks to identifying our feathered friends? Sign up for this “part 2” session of ornithology where we will spend more time out in the field identifying birds. We will also spend some time learning how to identify birds without seeing them (by their calls!).
